How to Install Adhesive Vinyl Plank Flooring on Concrete

Installing adhesive vinyl plank flooring on concrete is a relatively easy project that can be completed in a weekend. Here are the essential steps involved:

Adhesive vinyl plank flooring
Adhesive
Notched trowel

Step 1: Prepare the Concrete

The concrete must be clean, dry, and level. Remove any existing flooring, baseboards, and quarter round. Sweep the concrete floor and then vacuum it to remove any dust or debris.

Step 2: Apply the Adhesive

Using a notched trowel, apply the adhesive to the concrete floor in a thin, even layer. The adhesive should be applied in the direction that the planks will be installed.
